SISA, the Sports Car Owners Club of Greece, upon its establishment, shook the calm waters of classic car events by introducing dynamic regularity events.
In 1994 we started with the Round of Attica Rally and the SISA Island Rally.
The Round of Attica changed the standards of one-day regularity rallies in Greece and its being held since 1994 without a break.
1998 was a year of revolution with the “24 Hours Greece” endurance regularity rally
“24 Hours Greece” overturned all stereotypes of classic car events in Greece and was established as one of the most cult endurance regularity rallies of Europe. της Ευρώπης. “24 Hours Greece” is being held every year since 1998 without a break.
In 1999 we revived legends with the Classic Acropolis rally.
SISA pioneered again by reviving the legend by organizing the Classic Acropolis regularity rally from 1999 till 2004.
The legend is being kept alive with the Classic Rally from 2010 till present day.
We overturned stereotypes with our “Grand Prix” & the “24 Laps” regularity circuit
SISA’s Grand Prix is a Ghymkhana for skilled drivers which has been organized on various locations in Athens area, like the Olympic Beach Volley facilities. As “24 Lap” regularity circuit we wrote history on the track of Athens Circuit in Megara. During the last years this event is being held with great success in a seaside location of Varkiza.
We dared to bring the start of the Historic Monte Carlo Rally to Athens
Rallye Monte Carlo Historique is the Holly Grail of historic motorsport events. Several members of SISA participated since 1998 in this great rally. Triumph came in 2018 with G. Delaportas and S. Moustakas who conquered the win in their category and the second place of the overall classification. In 2019 SISA revived after 44 years a great tradition of Athens as a starting city for the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique, which lasted from 1927 till 1975. In 2020 SISA organized on behalf of the Automobile Club de Monaco for a second consecutive year a start of the Historic Monte Carlo Rally at the footsteps of the Acropolis.
We keep going with dynamic events
SISA was the first club in Greece to organize a Rally Sprint Regularity rally. With the support of the Municipality of Vari Voula Vouliagmeni we revived the Voula Hill Climb, which is remembered as “Kremasmenos Lagos” (Hanged Rabbit), which is the name of the location of the Hill Climb in Voula and offers spectacular view of the Saronic Gulf.
